Apple and Oat Protein Smoothie

I followed the Hairy Bikers recipe for the smoothie and added in my favourite protein powder. I did a little experiment to see if it would keep in the fridge as the recipe does say “serve at once”, however the worst thing about protein smoothies is making them when you are tired and groggy in the mornings.
Here’s how it turned out.
- natural fat free yogurt
- semi skimmed milk
- lemon juice
- Your favourite protein powder
- Chop the apples and place everything in the blender, blend until smooth.
- place in a container and put into the fridge. Enjoy the next morning.

Initially looks pretty good and the taste test is also a win, I didn’t end up using the lemon incase it would react with the yoghurt and separate everything but there’s nothing to say that you couldn’t add in just before you have it.
